AU = Forte, Futura, 'Mont, 'Mont Ghia
NU = Fairlane
DU = LTD

i know BA's used the same code, but ford still used NU and DU

If it means anything, I just checked the Official vehicle identification stuck in the vehicle manual and it does not refer to the model as DU. Id sheet says AUII LTD. I cannot see any reference to DU in any of the docs that came with the car. Redbook also refers to them as AU.

Back to the challenge, I do not have a photoshop of my lwb. I am guessing that we are waiting for Kris.

On the compliance plates yes.. They are refered to as AU FLANE & AU LTD..
As for ford using the NU/DU Prefix, it seems that they only do that to determine the difference when looking for parts on computer.. It is much easier to have fairlane and ltd specific parts marked as NU/DU...
