I love the way you have added in the sunroof to mate, something that is missing on a factory G6E.

cheers, took it off my car heh

it's a shame it wasn't offered as much, although they offered it to me at the dealer on the XR when the after-sales chick tried to upsell to me which never works. I told her i had contacts where i can get them cheaper than her but she still went on about it anyway.

when you do see a G6E with a sunroof, and i've seen a few, it's a very pretty thing. Looks good on any FG actually and should be good on an FZ it seems.

Saw this beast today... was in a convoy with a G series I believe, was hard to tell the difference in DRLs/headlights when going that fast but at first glance they looked good (in person, not in SuperBlurryDashcamVision).

it's my favourite too, but ironically it's the only one that i did on the old frame before doing a lot more tweeks to the bonnet. If you look carefully you can still see most of the BOSS bonnet inner hump outline on it.

EDIT: have fixed that issue now and a few other things

Absolutely. There's nothing like driving around with the assurance that nearly anything can be replaced cheaply, quickly and easily at your local wrecking yard, while at the same time having relatively good performance, style and comfort. Name one foreign manufacturer that produces a car that's cheap to operate, modify, repair, service and maintain, and can pull a trailer/boat and cover long distances at speed without breaking a sweat and have the overtaking ability of a Porsche. Not everyone has the means to afford or sees the worth in forking out $1000 for a taillamp or $2000 for a special programmed key from germany if you lose your keys for instance.

Your G6ET would have an aftermarket sunroof. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Ford haven't offered a factory sunroof option since the release of the FG in 2008.

Zero difference if you go to the right place. No recent Falcon has a rolled edge sunroof as they're all fitted aftermarket. Prestige sunroofs taught FPV how to fit sunroofs. They still offer the option for FG in after sales up-selling it's just not in the brochures. Either way the roof is still cut open after the fact just like if you ordered one with a sunroof in 2002, or earlier.

Its a trend that car manufactures are coming back to. Mind you most don't run the brake light across to the boot/tailgate when doing this.

So they have officially released pics of the headlight and tail light- how long after this point did they release full pics and specs when the FG was launched? Does anyone remember?

I remember seeing a fully undisguised Territory back in June 2003, a year before it was released.

This model will seemingly lose the typical 'Falcon' signature from the front and rear. Still yet to see a test car on the road myself :(
