Yes I would say thats my car ...... BUT if it is the pics are older than 10 years. I have old shots of it from the original owner but he changed the wheels. He had it for 10 years and I had it for 6. In the time he owned it though it went from that to this. Just shows what happens when they sit out in the open for this length of time

The old girl is a 74 XB.... Originally a 302 auto, beige with tan interior. Previous owner had put a twin headlight XC front on it.....

Now runs a 460BB, tricked c6 with a 3500 stall, full spool nine inch with 3.7 gears and 35spline axles, two stage nytrex nitrous system. Colour was supposed to be BA Phantom, but is little darker and looks closer to Wild Violet. Has run a 11.03 at Willowbank using only one stage of nitrous, also don't mind the occasional front wheel drift at QLD Raceway....

Since I was moving my 2nd coupe to her new home today I figured I'd post up a pic or two...

I bought her about 4 years ago off a guy who'd just divorced & was living at home with his Mom, I got the coupe with 2 x full XB interiors & 1 x full Landau interior for $500.... she has most of the usual factory fitted rust but all in all is in excellent shape.

I had bought her to make a Mad Max replica, but now my plan is to make a track car out of her, now just need to decided which classic livery to go with.

I understand why XA owners leave their grills black. It took the best part of a day to paint the silver on. 10 minutes to paint and 5 hrs to mask.

Pics of 25 Coupes from the 2009 All Ford Day at Geelong

Due to limitations in photobucket on the number of photos in an album, I'll leave these in my photobucket album for a coupe of weeks - then I'll delete them and load the other 19 coupes and leave them for another 2 weeks.

I've got some photos of a red XB GT coupe with sill/wheel arch and bonnet blackouts that was also there. I'll post these pics up in the next album set (in a couple of weeks) along with another 18 coupes that were there.
