There's a Bionic blue XF in Geelong, looks pretty decent, nice paint, nice wheels, but then it has a fart cannon and a rear wing that looks like an ironing board. Totally ruins it.

Still waiting for the chance to get a pic of it.

Love those idiotic stretched undersized tyres on huge rims, where the rim is literally the widest part of the wheel, just waiting to be kerbed severely by even the mildest hit.
I followed a P plater in a VZ today with chrome rims, maybe 20" at least, with tyres that were maybe 40mm or more narrower than the rim edge each side, stretched to buggery and actually looking narrower than ordinary tyres you would see on your average Commodore.

I've read about the extremes you have to go to to get those tyres to blow out to seat on the bead, using some super high pressure burst of air from some odd looking canister called an elephant...they tried to make claims they were just as safe as "normal tyres", but you don't need a blowout...just a loss of pressure, and those things will pop off the bead in the first curve or bend.

i have 225's on an 8, which means the tyre is 1 inch bigger overall than the rim. the rim protectors are virtually useless in my situation, but i wanted a particular ride height. had i been informed the tyres i wanted weren't available when i ordered them, i would have 7's on the front. either way, mine are stretched close to the limit. the example above seems to be just a little bit silly

Actually they used to be stock utes modded by Jakab industries in Tamworth. They were built to be ambulances.

Those ex-ambulance utes were and still are very popular with trades and people like that.

I was followed by a pink and white VN today...with those big eyelashes above the headlights...at least a woman was driving it I suppose...

They are fine. I have 225/40 R18 front tyres on an 18x8.5 and 235/40R18 on 18x10's. Drive carefully and you don't gutter bash them.

Alot of drifters use Streched tires without fail, and people in the lowrider scene have been doing it for over 30 years without problems...

Jacab (Tamworth) stretched the Commos for their modular Ambo bodies, and from memory Superior (Brisbane) stretched the XH & XG Falcons for their version at the same time they were doing the F250 7.3 powerstroke Turbo diesels
