Hi everyone on Ford site.I have Ba Futura which I purchased some months ago.Am about to install a Pwr transmission cooler kit as I found out about the possibility of a milkshake on the net.Going to install with a friend and if all goes well and we don't get killed or damage car will be stoked,I hope with after results too.Car has nearly 200 thou on clock so installation of kit probs a good idea.Have learned a good amount of information on here and elsewhere so thanks to everyone who shares their vehicle knowledge.Rob S.

Hi all

New member here so I thought I’d say hello. I’ve only ever owned one Ford and that was a new BA XR6 Turbo quite a few years back (though my dad did have a new Ford Zephyr many years ago!!!!!). But, in 2 weeks time I pick up a brand new meteor grey Ranger XLT (2 litre biturbo) with tech pack, hard tub lid (with dust proofing), black wheel option and nudge bar. Hopefully I’ll have good things to report......Cheers - Maurice

I just had a spare set reset that had a helper spring per side. One was cracked so both spring packs got new ones. I also had a 30mm lift to compensate for my lifted King front coils. On the scales on Friday I was 2540 kgs

Thumbs up Re: Welcome to New Members - Post here to say gday!

Hi

Started off with a 63 XL Ford Falcon Station Wagon, went to the dark side for a number of years but recently went with a 2008 Falcon GT sedan.

Going to use it to tow a Jayco Penguin tourer pop up.

When I ever get to actually travel

All the best

Hi everyone,

I have currently had an XF panelvan for 20 years now, and an
XG panelvan for about 3 years. Eventually would like to have the XG
as a fairly presentable example, while the XF is my daily and a bit rough
around the edges, but is pretty good mechanically...

Great info to be found on this forum, which has been helpful, and should
help me get some stuff sorted with the XG as time goes by. I have been
tackling a few jobs in recent weeks, due to the XG needing some repairs...

Cheers Ed

Hey there, first ford I've owned au2 XR8 ute bought from a mate as a favor but it has been quite hard to keep working, accessed this site for the wealth of knowledge you all have put together.
fixes so far, power steering pipes, electric window winders, seized caliper slides.
Still to fix hand break cable various body work and as of two days ago bloody transmission. hope not to annoy you all by asking questions that have already been answered.

Hi all, pleased to join the Forum. I've owned a few Fords over the years. Mk 1 Escort, MK2 Cortina 1600E, Mk 1facelift 300lt Capri, 2 chassis cab transits. The latest being & 98 van that has since gone to the breakers. Currently driving a very old Isuzu and looking at buying another chassis cab / Crew cab Trany. I would appreciate your thoughts the van I owned for 7 years in semi permanent limp mode even Ford's couldn't sort it out. Still a great van reliable comfy and cheap to run. What are the Mk 6 and 7 trucks like it seems they regularly have problems. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys and girls,
A new guy here - not completely new to Fords.
Had an XA Fairmont back in the early '90s for a short period of time, then a Mk 3 Mondeo (I understand Aussies never got it?). Now perhaps I'm looking at an AU.
Cheers.

G'day all
I had a number of pre 80 fords back in the day and currently have a AU Fairmont, a temporary ride initially, & time to move it on
I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction about how to remove and fit door rubbers?
Want to fix a few things before i do so.
Thanks

I have owned a number of Fords over the ...many... years. 1952 Prefect, 1958 Prefect, Mk1 Zephyr, XA Fairmont and a 1998 Sapphire I bought new, and I had a job where I worked on different Model F Series for many years and drove a F250 for several years.
I have a new Mustang in my sights for the future. Waited many years with dribbling tongue for this.
Undecided on Ecoboost or GT yet. Could go either way.

Hi all

I have come across i think a 1961 Ford Falcon UTE. I hate to say its beyond my means of repair. BUT i do believe that this vehicle may be saved or her parts could be used for a Restoration. This is why i have become a member of this forum.

I have added some photos. The chassis and the body have a bad case of rust. It was a 1 owner all original ford. it was under a house for 30 years and last rego 1992. The whole car is there and motor does hand turn so not locked up.

If any one needs parts or knows best what to do i shall keep an eye on the post.

Let me know should I strip her down and sell of the parts or scrap the whole car.

Thanks Kim
