We just bought a Hyundai Getz from Harrison Hyundai which adjoins Harrison Ford. The workers flip between the both, but I didnt have an trubles with them. Though I did deal with a female sales lady. It would be a shame if they are stopping selling of the falcon. They have been there since I was a kid. I rmember my dad buying his EL brand new from them.

considering the attitude of the service department it's no loss to ford, they were a complete bunch of tools. i looked at booking my car in for a service once, they were carrying on with rubbish & wanted $65 for a loan car for the day, i just said don't bother i'll go to a decent dealer.
the only loss is for people out that way who now have to travel further for warranty or sevice

There is already a Holden just across the road, maybe a combination of Ford not being happy and they wanting to sell cheapo boxes to get more sales

If Ford weren't happy they wouldnt be the only one, another dealership in Bundoora I heard were on bad terms too for years and got a name change

Well it sounds like a positive move by Ford. Try to get rid of some of the less than reputable dealerships, and keep the better ones.

I just hope they eventually open up another Ford dealership in Melton, I don't fancy going all the way to Sunbury for any warranty work.

Definite now, I drove past there earlier today, all of the Ford signs have been taken down and the yard is full of Suzukis. Looks like Suzukis will occupy that showroom now.

Unkown mate. Possibly to Bacchus Marsh unless that is also no go. But my best guess would be to the auto sales fraternity. Another world that is, and we are not invited.

I'm in Sunbury and found them consistently quite good actually especially warranty issues, and normally can talk to the guys there who know about the cars. Been going there for about 8 years now.
Bit awkward for you though if the job takes over a few hours and you have to leave it there. Otherwise I arrange when booking to wait while they do the work.

There is a much bigger story behind this.............however Binks Ford are currently building a huge dealership at Deer Park on the Western Highway. They are an FPV dealer there too which Harrisons never were.

Cheers

Yep drove past today..... the Ford area is all gone- turned into a full Suzuki car yard. They had all their Swifts out in place of the Fiesta's. And the other side is the Hyundai dealership. All the Ford signage on the buliding has been paited over. Now known as Harrison Motor Group.

Hey all u ppl out there i cant believe that ppl who dont know wat exactly happened to Harrison Ford are mocking and slandering this company. U all need to get a clue and get ur facts right.... Harrison ford is no longer selling fords, but not for the reasons stated in others posts, so until u get the RIGHT FACTS maybe u should do some more research into why instead of listening to idle gossip............ :
