I kicked the crap out of my Mrs's Celica once ...... shame as it was a nice little car but had a caved in door afterward. Also picked up the lawn mower and destroyed it against a brick wall so can understand how frustrating things get ......... but its still a stupid thing to do. Didnt think there was a law about destroying your own property, especially if its misbehaving

Ah, small engine equipment destruction. I still have a Ryobi line trimmer in my shed that copped my wrath when it wouldn't start.

Im a painter, I work in the building industry, mainly new residential work. I've smashed apart new built-in cupboards after belting my head on a shelf.

I've also smashed several $1000 worth of computer components, especially wireless routers......there's something incredibly frustrating about something telling you it cant find a wireless point even though it could 2 seconds ago and nothing has changed except the bloody router wants to play silly buggers.

Strangely enough i seem to spend alot of my time fixing damaged walls and standing on broken bits of plastic......

I think there is some kind of release when smashing things. I seen a place in the US where you can go and pay to smash plates and dinnerware :
