There are so many I love, but the best I would have to say are:
Robert De Niro
Ben Stiller (hey Stevo :voldar02:?)
Edward Norton
Kevin Spacey (sexy ugly)
William H. Macy
Steve Buscemi
Tom Hanks
Jonny Depp (oh yeah baby! anytime!)
John Cusack (Grosse Pointe Blank)
Joan Cusack (same movie, also Arlington Road - she was freaky as)

There are others but I can't think of them all.

The ones I truly hate are:
Angelina Jolie (tits and lips don't get you everywhere - no matter how hard you try to stick them out you still can't ACT)
Nicholas Cage (someone just let me rebreak his nose so he can talk properly)
Steven Segal
Liv Tyler (by the third Lord of the Rings I just wanted to reach into the screen and kick her crying, blubbery, sooky elven ****)

There are probably a HEAP more but that edit button will come in handy I'm sure.

To judge a worst actor I go by whether, or not, I will watch a movie that has him/her in it. Working by this rule of thumb I NEVER watch anything with Ben Stiller in it. I can't stand this guy, and to actually list him as an actor is a contradiction in terms. He is as funny as a cactus needle in the ****. There are several movies I am interested in, but won't watch, because he is in them.

untalented wannabees I'll tolerate (Depending on the movie):
Madonna
Cameron Diaz
Jerry Sienfeld
Uma Thurman
Blythe Danner
Angelina Jolie
Tia Carrere
Will Ferrel (Only Just)
And there are likely a lot more

Actors I enjoy watching:
John Travolta
Samuel L. Jackson
Big Arnie
Bruce Willis
Tom Hanks
Jim Belushi
Gina Davis
Jeff Goldbloom
Alec Baldwin
Sean Connery
Dan Ackroyd
John Goodman
James Dean
Julia Roberts
Denzel Washington
Bill Murray
Kate hudson
Morgan Freeman
Brad Pitt
Sir Anthony Hopkins
Goldie Hawn
Steve Martin
Kurt Russell
Kevin Spacey
Kevin Bacon
Keifer Sutherland
Donald Sutherland
Gene Hackman
Colin Farrell
John Wayne
Charlton Heston
And more, depending on the movie

I give Russel Crowe a thumbs up for acting ability, his attitude that is portrayed to us thru mainstream media isn't that flash.

Steve Buscemi plays the best sidekicks, not exactly great acting as most of his roles are stereo typical but he nails it everytime.

Harrison Ford one of the few actors that can make even a shitty movie worth watching
a few other noteables that can act:-
Sean Penn
Marlon Brando
Paul Newman
Merryl Streep
Natalie Wood
Hugo Weaving

Actors I can't watch
Will Smith
Keanu Reeves
Patrick Swayze

My most hated actor is Steven Segal closely followed by Christopher Lambert. I love Highlander but hate Lambert.

As far as Brad Pitt goes, I used to think he was just some pin up boy that all the girls like but now i rate him as one of my favorite actors. Fight Club, Seven, Legends Of The Fall... Definately makes some good movies.

My two favorite actors of all time are Al Pacino and Johnny Depp. Loved Donnie Brasco because of the combination. Pacino is just a great actor and makes great movies. Depp chooses his roles very carefully and is frequently in "edgy" movies. Im hanging out for the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, ive heard its much darker than the original and really, who else could play Wonka on par with Gene Wilder better than Johnny Depp?!

One of my favourite actors would have to be John Travolta. Very classy IMO.

Others I like to watch

Samuel L. Jackson
Denzel Washington
Dwayne Johnson (The Rock). I don't mind him, except for when he was in The Mummy Returns and the Scorpion King
Tom Hanks

There's really no female actresses that if they were in a movie, that I'd HAVE to go see it.

Alright, I'm going to add one here that is going to raise a few eyebrows but being a dad and having a young daughter I have seen this actress Many MANY times. I personally thing she is one of the most talented up and coming actresses on the planet. She has it all, the looks, the voice, the ability. I hope she goes far.

Who is it?

Hilary Duff (I'll hide now)

Best:
Al Pacino
Johnny Depp

Worst:
Jim Carrey

Though I'm undecided on Kevin Bacon. Either he really is a creep, or he's a great actor, because after seeing "Sleepers", and "Picture Perfect" I can't stand him.
He just grosses me right out.

Check out 'Mystic River', just to make the decision a bit tougher.

I agree about Kevin Bacon - he really makes you wonder if he's that slimy in real life.

A fair few i forgot to mention in my lists but i wont go back and edit - id be here for ages!

The only person I have ever seen portray the role of President of the United States well is Martin Sheen in the West Wing. Everybody else just seems to be absolutely shithouse at it - ESPECIALLY Bill Pullman (Independence Day).
