How much are the FR 18"s??

I would have thought original xr8 rims would be more pricey

The XR8's aren't original, they are copies to fit e-series.

FR18's new are around 4k with rubber I think..

Good to see someone buy a nice car and give it a bit of stick every now and then

The previous owner wasn't willing to part with the rims. Which was fine with me, I wanted the car

Ah ok.. rims sure are nice.. not much smoke coming off those wheels.. looks like im going to have to find a digital camera and whip up a storm in my trusty 6. which i may add would take your V8 to breakfast and make it eat pickles ;)

Competition?

Let me get on a track where I'm not paranoid my 'uncle' is going to 'spank me' and take my car from me, and I'll give you a decent run for your money son :P

Of course turbo motor will beat me, it's hard to compare the two engines (with relatively basic mods).

But I bet mine will do it sounding a lot better :P

Your car looks great! I wouldn't stress about the rims. I think the ones that are on it look sweet. You can't beat the low stock look. The FR's look good but you could do better IMO. I actually think the BA 18's would look better being a flat faced wheel, especially on a silver car. The FR's with the dish look a bit old skool these days.

Also, is it just me or does it look like the doors on the driver's side are slightly darker than the rest of the car? Has it been damaged/resprayed at any stage?

Default Wheels

Where are you?
I am in Brisbane and I have a set of 5 AMG Quake rims in Hypersilver ( They are E series offset ) with barely used tyres ( 3-4000 ks ) and locknuts. After $1500 for them Tyres are Federal Supersteel 595 235 40Z 18R 91W on four and the spare has a new Maxis MA V1 same size. The rims are in very good condition. Let me know if your interested.

Cheers, Steve
