A have a few questions about the Fairlanes, too. Firstly, are they more mechanically reliable than their SWB/wagon counterparts (or are they simply not treated as harshly)? Secondly, in comparison to the Fairmonts, are there any major differences? Comparing an NL fln and EL fmt ghia, they're around the same price ($1k difference when new, around the same $$ now), fmt ghia goes faster, has more standard options, and has around the same room (same space up front, obviously a bit longer in the back).

My old man had a DF 5.0L LTD in bordeaux, i loved that car!

Probably my favourite out of all the company cars he's had.. its a toss up between the DF and the BA XR6T..
