Funnily enough, I was just saying this to gtfpv and YLDXR last night. If this is the same colour from the AU's, just with a different name, my next Falcon would definately be in this colour....

Silhouette is a bugger to keep clean, trust me, first and last 'black' car (ute) I'll ever own!
This is what it looks like without using a flash. (Just after waxing) This is what Silhouette looks like with a flash turned on. (Again, after waxing) You can see that it is a black base with lots of blue metallic fleck in it. Now if Ford's painting process produced paint that did not show up every little scratch, then I would stay with the nice dark colours. Ego looks very much like the old school gun metal grey. |

Agree
A great color, but I can imagine color matching for dumb ***** like my brother that aims for every obstacle in the car park!

Sillouette isn't black enough for me it has far to much other crap in it I'd much prefer a genuine black but then again I hate metallics.
PS Your car could realy use a polish to get rid of all those swirl marks YOOT |

[QUOTE=RATT]
In this photo it looks as near as dammit to what my Coupe is painted in. This looks great on the BF and would just about be my first choice if buying new today. BTW, the Meteorite AU colour rocks also, I think it's a little bit lighter than this.

I've always thought that Phantom Mica (Holden) was a better black. The cars just seem "blacker than Silhouette".... not that I'd admit it though.

Our SV8 got resprayed and they put too much metallic in the paint. Looks like a dark metallic grey in the sun now.
