After all of this the program I need to use has set a date for their VISTA frendly release

So I can stick with VISTA (of which I like) and not stuffing around. The only thing I am going to do thou is upgrade from 1 to 2gb of RAM, VISTA smashes the RAM :(

Cheers for all your help guys, I didn't change back but now everyone that has read the thread knows what to do

Cheers
Choca

You obviously aren't using your computer for any of these:

Gaming
Accounting
CAD
Web Design

A relevant quote from one of these articles: "Microsoft pushed hard to get Vista shipped, but important components, such as display drivers and development tools, are still buggy and incomplete. It will likely be many months before these problems will be shaken out."

I'd have thought that as a beta tester you would actually have to do stuff with your computer... :

Those issues are with the software publisher...not MS...as are the hardware drivers...

As for beta testing..nah MS just asked us to instal it, test Solitaire, and she was right to go...release to the public...

OK, so riddle me this Batman: Is there anything you can do in Vista right now, which can't be done in XP?
