Hight ran just under 332 mph in FC to finish on top. Nice!!

How about a AFF NHRA trip to Las Vegas in Oct/Nov to visit SEMA/AAPEX and take in 3 days of racing?????
I did the vegas race last year, that facility is something else, the night life isn't tooo bad either. be careful with sema as they are letting less people per business in this year due to overcrowding. check their site. i'm heading to indy this year then the ihra race in toronto the week after for some mountain motor pro stock action. might even get to see a ford win!!

Errr me, he's been racing nitro for 17 years and has a crew chief that's being doing it for longer. Having said that there were only two session because of the rain. Alan Johnson and the Sarge are "THE" team......

Sorry Craig but Blazemore was taken out round 2 by Joe Hartley. He has never been to semi-final before and he ended up in the final.

Another great race meeting.

What a ride by Robert Hight, that was one hell of a explosion and bounce of both walls before sitting on the roof for a good distance. It was interesting to hear him say how he thought he was in the sand trap when he hit the wall the second time so thats why he climbed out only to find out he still had a fair bit to go to get there. It was a big call by John Force not to run the car in the Semi, but after the recent events and as he said John Medlen told him not to run it as it may not be safe so they didnt. The death of Eric Medlin is going to have quite an effect on drag racing in the USA. Ron Capps didnt qualify and Robert Hight could have taken over the championship lead but they put the safety first, this would not have happened in past seasons.

What a ride by Del Worsham, that was one hell of a explosion, it just disinagrated the body and put some big holes in the block, bends in the chassy and one big pile of shrapnel. The tv doesnt really do it justice for the sound that it would have made, and when it let go there were safety marshals standing close by and you could see them take of real quick dodging body parts as they came back to earth. He has had a couple of nasty explosions lately and is in no hurry to get back in until he finds out whats going wrong.

Yes Del had one hell of a ride thats for sure. A pretty boring final qualifying round yesterday with not much going full track. Hope the racing is on today and doesnt get moved for something else. Oh well Im going now to see if its on and sit back and enjoy.
