EUROFORDCLUB JANUARY 2007 CRUISE
Date : Saturday, 20th January 2007 Meeting point : Olympic Park, Homebush. P5 car park. What time : 8:30am-8:45am as we’ll start the cruise at 9:00am SHARP! Destination : Wollongong via the Royal National Park. We’ll stop at Wollongong for some lunch and we can decide there if we’d like to continue on to Macquarie Pass or back track to Olympic Park. What to bring : A full tank of petrol, an empty stomach, some money for food, and 2-way radio would be awesome. Hope to see yous there! Ivan |

well, i can drive now which is great, went for my first drive in 7 weeks yesterday...
the next problem is that the parentals want me to go up to our property (near Gunnedah) to sell my motorbike this weekend, so im once again plunged into doubt i'm hoping i can put it off a week but i'll just have to wait and see. damn the new year period, everything is so frantic at the moment :( Uni/. |

I told Tim about the cruise and he said that the route might be too much for Newcastle people, and understandably so. As with Lotsy, i've never seen her online nor seen her post anywhere ever.

We'll drive down on King Georges/Princess hwy down to Heathcote maccas where we'll meet some people there. From heathcote maccas we can chuck a U'y, drive up and turn right at Farnell rd. (top of the natio park). OR apparently an easier route is to continue drive down princess hwy to Waterfall, turn left and access the national park halfway mark. From natio park, we'll drive down along the coast... coalcliff bridge and get onto Princess hwy... continue driving until we get to a suburb called Figtree where we'll have some lunch at Chickos. What to bring : A full tank of petrol, an empty stomach, some money for food, and 2-way radio would be awesome. Damn this sounds like a great day and I haven't taken the lowered/kitted Cougar down there yet but I'm gonna have to pull out for other commitments that day. Have fun guys, take photos and I hope the weather's good, or atleast better than when a downpour halted our BBQ lunch idea last year at the same location!

First of all, a big thanks for everyone that came along to the cruise. I hope you enjoyed the cruise in one aspect or another. It was great to have three XR5Ts in the cruise, im starting to like XR5Ts.
A huge thanks also to Isaac (Zetec20) and his friend, Simon for leading us through Wollongong. Everything could be improved on my part and things will be done differently if im organizing another cruise in the future. |

hey folks
terribly sorry i couldn't make it, i ended up driving back from a lovely little place called Tambar Springs this morning at 6am, got home at 1pm... bringing the damn motorbike back to be sold. i trust you all had a killer time, i wish i could have made it Uni/. |
