i went up bout 4 weeks ago... the beaudesert is a nice drive, but if u get stuck behind a slow car it isnt as much fun,(i went this way home it is very prettty but i gut stuck behind a slow car.. time wise it was quicker as well but dont know at what cost in regards to extra fuel) spesh if you car is loaded which is sounds like it is.

i went the logan motor way on the way up and it was great got on to the left about 8:00 and was on the coast about 11:45 mayb a little later but i had a grouse run.

"loaded" is the understatement of the year!

Hyundai Trajet (dont laugh!), roof pod the size of the Hindenburg, 2 fridges, 2 DVD players (one roof mounted, the other portable), sat nav system, 2 adults and 5 squids - you could call it loaded!!
