Last time I checked, FG's can't have their glovebox locked?
They no longer have a fuel hatch release button on the dash.
No more speakers in rear parcel shelf, moved to rear doors.

I think it's because the base models are so well equipped these days. Power windows, trip computers etc were a big deal in separating the lower and upper spec models whereas these are all features that are now found in base models.

The XA, XB, XC Ute, the way as speed increased wind noise grew in volume as the pillerless side windows were sucked outwards.

Speed Alert for AU+
I loved the Clock in the EF/EL which had the date too!
Wood grain! (Don't think the FG has it anymore)
LWB? They don't have that anymore... Could maybe add wagon to that soon too...
Vacum Gauges
T-Bar Shifter (They aren't a T any more)
Dash Badging
Cigarette Lighter, may as well add ash trays in doors to that too
Economy Switch
Raised Bonnet Emblems (ie. LTD)
Adjustable Aerial

Which model came out with Gas struts under the bonnet?

On second thought, the XA, XB, XC Ute, the way each time you hit a large pot hole the A Pillar on one side or the other broke up the top or bottom. Then gradually over time the A pillars broke at the top & bottom. This meant your windscreen held the whole shebang together until one day you hit a pothole and the windscreen broke.

rear controls for the radio and cassette player in the DA LTD, and once upon a time when Ford had a V8 option that wasn't an FPV.

I bet they still use those dodgy actuators with plastic cogs that break.

EA-ED Fairmont/Fairmont Ghias also had the antenna half height switch and date on clock.

I liked the 'ambient' temperature outside on the EF/EL Fairmont climate control.

Can't definitively say when these things were introduced, but I think I can get some closer to the mark.

If we are talking about features that have been removed
- Proper rear headrests. Disgraceful not to have them in a full sized sedan when they are standard on the cheapest Hyundai Getz.
