cruising around the suburbs it has settled to around 15l/100 with A/C on
haven't done a decent country run yet

Its better for sure hey, will be good to see the hwy numbers then the city numbers again, still can get a little lower Imo. Well done 4vxc, are you happy so far with that number?

yeah not too bad for what it is, its a big car with a 4 speed auto so its fine with me.
Replacing air filter with a Fram next week, then regular maintenance and just keeping it as close to showroom cond as possible like it is now

bit of a update, after the Fram air filter went in it's getting high 14's normal suburban driving. Still no codes but might fit a new o2 sensor anyway

I replaced my intake manifold gasket a few weeks ago and cleaned the throttle body and idle control valve. The gasket may have been broken but I didn't know for sure as it is brittle and broke up upon removing. The end result is a much smoother idle and what seems to be better fuel economy. 14L per 100 km suburban sounds about right for a VCT. I will post my figures later.

dont know my L/100 but i know that my vct manual gets 750+ to a tank of 91 and it gets driven pretty hard 90% of the time. ive also got 3.91 diff gears aswell. rest of the details are below.

bit of an update, using Fuelio the average for the last 10 tanks has been 13.27L/100
