Hello there!

You have a PM

Hot turns are ok, when everything goes right, heh. Tankers, reliable things, you can trust them to turn up half an hour after you've given up any hope of seeing one before the next sortie!

Haha, jokes...

I did post a photo of a B-24! It landed - face first! :monkes:

I have previously posted threads of P-51 Mustangs and the like (one of my favourite aircraft), and am always collecting images for the next thread.

Till next time!

Seems like something weird is happening with the building to the left of the fan for the pilot (commonly known as a propellor, but it's actually a fan for the pilot, because when it stops, you should see the pilot sweat!), looks like a dodgy photoshop.

The landing gear is the correct orientation, it would have to have something to do with the prop vs Mk number, or the markings I presume... would have to do more research before I could tell. Any clues?

The leading edges of the wings look a little funny, can't quite place it. Kinda looks like a weird Photoshop or a really good CG plane.

Spitfire is also my favourite - we have one over here in a museum in Adelaide. That is a nice photo - It looks like a MK VIII or IX.

Gunns - The scoop for the supercharger is the one sitting between the undercarriage (below and to the the rear of the motor) there was a large square enclosure on the right wing for the radiator and the smaller "tube type" is on the left wing (later models had two square enclosures - two radiators).

Come on Firefox7 what's wrong with the Photo????

Yea they are very tallented. I read on another forum that they were doing landing gear/tyre strength testing on an early B777 prototype. Very Very Interesting stuff to watch. I think i have watched it over 50 times now!

The plane is a CGI Creation done in 3dsmax. The pit glass got screwed up during the render.

Here is a bare bones render with no mapping apart from basic textures that i'm working on right now. Lots of detail to be added yet...German BF-109e
