That's exactly it! Oh boo hoo, it's 28 degrees with the AC on, all the blinds closed and a fridge full of cold coke/milk/beer. Harden up ladies!

There are heaps worse places to be. My mate in Iraq, got off the plane in Kuwait to 50 degrees plus. And freezes his ИИИИ off at night when it snows.

I know what it's like up there, while it's hot here today it's nothing compared with 40+C in Rocky or other parts of QLD, you have a cold shower to cool off then work up a sweat turning the tap off!

It's a dry heat down here and nowhere near as bad without the humidity which is the bit that knocks you around

Yeah QLD is rediculous! I went there for a week on holidays and the humidity was a killer. the Perv factor was high so it didnt matter so much

I was on the Gold Coast this time last year and all everyone was talking about was the heat wave because it was about 35 degrees for a few days straight! Parents were keeping their kids home from school because of it and it was headline news up there. : If anyones a wimp it's you Queenslanders! It wasn't uncomfortable at all.

We had the heat sorted yesterday.....went down to Sanderingham beach but dropped by the bottle-o first to pick up a few cans.

Waded out to the deeper water where we could just float with our 6 packs tied to our boardies....nothin like floatin round, having a perv and drinking pi$$ 50m off-shore lol.

btw, you could see the huge smoke cloud from over near Geelong across the bay....pretty big.

Man, thats much better than what I got up to.

I put my trans temp gauge in. I was waiting for the needle to start moving with just the ambient temp in the garage... :(
