I wonder if his mate could fit the Maybach in his garage? I thought a whole heap of paperwork had to be filled out in order for staff to take vehicles on non work related trips with vehicles that had special insurance clauses.

I think his mate was pretty stupid for taking it out.. obviously had no care for how much he would have to pay if something happened as i bet the insurance didn't cover p platers..

Or the insurance might have had an excess of $50,000..

And the old line "we trust you" is just another way of saying "if you mess it upwe know where you live and are gonna mess you up"..

Wouldn't it be great to be a P plater with a million dollar debt..

My 5 cents..

Cheers,
Nik

guess wat i went in?

I'm unable to decipher just what it is you 'went in' (truly a statement to ponder), but I'm willing to bet a tidy sum that it was not a grammar contest.

Bit of a strech that a P plater would be entrusted with such a car, I mean what state is this in, in most states a P plater can't legally drive something that powerful, hence 0 insurance cover, So a 1,300,000 car trusted to a young driver with limited experience and he has just recently started with the company to boot?? And all because they couldn't be arsed moving some dealership cars to get his out, or a least give him another dealer car to take home.
"yeah no worries mate, we normally store the car on the showroom floor under heavy security and surveilance, but why dont you take it home, cruise around for the night, then just park it out in your street instead"

Seriously though I'd love to be proved wrong.

couple of questions about the car,
is that a glass roof?
is there curtains on the back window?
can you hook me up with a drive?

seriously, that is one nice car, but i think a little heavy on the wood grain.

Never too much woodgrain.. that being said, I wish I actually had some, instead of this 'wood inspired' stick on plastic crap :P

Well, you proved me wrong, well done mate. I'm still dumbfounded that they let an employee take a 1.3mil car home for the night, let alone a P plater, recently new to the company. Can't blame some people for being sceptical though, it's pretty crazy that it actually happened.

Probably wondering why a 1.3mil luxury car has a 50c green plastic key tag instead of some diamond encrusted leather key fob. but yeah its a dealership car so it makes sense.
