It doesn't seem cheap, the cost jumped from mid $3.50s really quick! And now it's about $4.54, I've seen gas as high as $4.69. Lots of people are guessing that in the summer it'll hit $5/gallon!

But I did the calculations for liters and yes, gas is cheaper here than in AU.

$1.44 here in Goulburn. Cheaper than Canberra, and I do over 1000km a week so it all helps.

I've kept a detailed log of my fuel usage over the last 9 months and 15,860kms since I've had my 380.

I always fill up at either the Shell (Optimax 98) or the BP (Ultimate) in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.

Prices have ranged between: $1.48/L - $1.73/L, with the average over that time (1,439L used) being $1.58/L.

My last fuel up on 29/05/2012 was $1.50/L, for 62.55L / 754km trip at 8.30L/100km.

Driving down Bells Line of Road, Kurmond, NSW toward Richmond, 91ron (NOT E10) $1.37. Sharp right into the servo to fill up. 10k further down same road, $1.49. 12 cents a liter saving? That's for me.
