Sunday Cruiser here , and Very Rarely . Lucky to do 1,000k's most years , 134,316 K's in 33 years , 3,000 in the last 5 years and don't intend rolling up too many . Makes you appreciate the "Clevo Burble" all the more . :

Only drive it around town , not driven At All at the moment , just got the seat reupholstered (was away 5 months) and needs a good buff , so not taking it out till it looks 100% .

Every Falcon we've owned seems to have some sort of persona, as a big, dumb effortless cruiser that sometimes inspires sympathy ( i.e. characteristic diff whine). You can't help but like them. My EF is the same ( although the tranny just went on it)
Commodores on the other hand are just a heap, thrown together with parts from GM's parts bin, driven by marketing. Their (slightly) dumber fan base and socially irresponsible creator doesn't help.

Every time I jump in the car I think "hmm, I really should get around to fixing <insert broken/NQR thing here>". This thought can occur before or after starting the car :P

make me fell that my car is better than everythiung. i just get that tingly feeleing when the tachometer needle winds up and i grab the next hear. and when slowing down the nice burble of the exhuast sounds so nice. not to mention the way it sits on the road. so flat so reponsive.....accellerates good. loves the twisties but hates the straights with a passion.

I voted "good times" but I do want to add my Escape has quite an attiude if you do something you should not, If you leave the lights on as you get out its ding ding ding ding ding, makes sure you know she don't like that, same if you don't put on your seatbelt. But she is courteous also and puts the interior light on for you whilst you get in the car.

Every time i start her up that rumble makes the hairs on my back stand up...

Cruising at 60miles with all four windows down and the sweet music of the 351 filling the cabin and surrounding areas.. The throbing pain from the whiplash, when the right foot touches the floorboard and the cloud of smoke engulfs the rear of the car, as you cruise well beyond the sunset.
Its love, i kid you not!

Could this be heaven? Possibly

OMG....KING or should I say QUEEN of the road, when I'm driving anyhow ,it is Queen and make way! We have been through the BA XR Turbo(alot of fun when tweeked),BA XR 8(even more fun after Rob Herrod, the Ford Father, had finished with it) Now we have a Super Pursuit Ute(with Herrod mods) and it is every bit as much fun as the others. Our other car is a poor old EL that is standard and that is the Sunday car so to speak.

Appearence is nothing.....performance and reliability is everything.

mechanicals and suspention are A1 but the exterior could do with a fresh coat of paint.

The machine of a dream
Such a clean machine
With the pistons a pumpin
And the hub caps all gleam

When Im holdin your wheel
All I hear is your gear
When my hands on your grease gun
Oh its like a disease son

Im in love with my car
Gotta feel for my automobile
Get a grip on my boy racer rollbar
Such a thrill when your radials squeal

Told my girl Ill have to forget her
Rather buy me a new carburetor
So she made tracks sayin
This is the end now
Cars dont talk back
Theyre just four wheeled friends now

When Im holdin your wheel
All I hear is your gear
When Im cruisin in overdrive
Dont have to listen to no run of the mill talk jive

Im in love with my car
Gotta feel for my automobile
Im in love with my car
String back gloves in my automolove

Is it just me, or am I not alone in the feeling when the car is nice and clean and SHINY, with clean wheels, interior and exterior the whole mood of the car changes?

I mean you feel like hey this is a nice beast, damn it looks good now.

But its a Sunday cruiser for me.

Gotta love the night drives using the spotties. No one else on the roads. Feeling the cool night air and listening to some tunes :or just hearing the :crackle of the engine braking *not breaking* going down some twisty mountain roads exploring the place.

Its that freedom feeling I think!:eclipsee_

Depends on the day.

99% of the time it's just out for cruising. I can't think of a better car for cruising than a Ghia V8, lowered with big rims.
