Bloody classic!

Another good one, is one I got a few weeks back (was also on the footy show afl last night), a car is travelling at 30mph and hits a bloke who walks out onto the road. Looks pretty injured. Then, the car comers past again but at 50mph and as it's going quicker the car goes straight past before the bloke goes in the path of the car

Great Vid.

I once saw a guy who had a flat tyre who stopped in the right hand lane of a two lane 70kmh zone, he was changing his left hand rear tyre while being narrowly missed by people trying to get pass in the left lane. There was a emergency stopping lane on the left, he just thought "I have a flat, I had better stop right where I am". Man, did I call that idiot every name under the sun.

Ohh and no Safety Triangle or Safety Bananas.

Well I own a ford focus and it has a rear fog lamp and I live in Canberra and we get fog here. So now you want them banned? I use that lamp in fog conditions. I use it how it is suppossed to be used. So now you want them banned. When you start your campaign, let me know, and I'll start to use them in clear conditions.

Off Topic !!!! But A Little Bit Of Advice That I Tell My Wife. If You Are On A Motorway . Or Anywhere For That Matter. And You Breakdown . Pull Over Put Hazards On Exit Car And Get Off The Road . Even If You Are In The Emergancy Lane . Climb Over The Barrier Sit Under A Tree. About 10 Metres Away From The Road And Wait For Assistance .
#2 : If You Get A Flat Tyre . On A Busy Motorway . Dont Pull Over And Change Tyre In Emergancy Lane . Pull Over And Follow Steps In Point One . And Wait For Tow Truck. Or ,,,, Pullover To Emergewncy Lane And Drive Slowly Until You Get To A Wide Space Where You Can Park. (often Where The Rta Has Emergancy Telephones And Then Change The Tyre . So You Might Damage The Rim . Bettter Than Being Killed .
Makes Me Sick How Many Times I See Someone On A Motorway Changing A Flat In The Emergancy Lane 100m From A Wide Parking Space . Dumb As DogИИИИ...

My next evil campaign is to seek a final determination that we completely ban ADR52 - rear fog lights. Views?[/QUOTE]

Id rather see the "use your hazard lights whilst driving in fog law" removed or the booking of people who change lanes in either direction (without indicating) because their hazards are on!!

I must have missed most of keepleft's posts. I dont understand why he is so unpopular. I cant really see the point to his triangle campaign, I agree that rear foglights when it isnt foggy are distracting, but I would have thought, with a name like 'keepleft', that his main mission would be to get people out of the right lane and into the left unless overtaking, which is a good idea.

From what I can gether... Keepleft is a Motoring Safety Advocate of some description (hence the name and the seeming obsession with safety (banana) triangles...

I too dont understand the flack he seems to cop from some members. He only does what most 'advocates' do... they advocate! So he is usually the one to state the obvious things that everyone else tries to deny are a problem... Meh... I dunno. I dont neccisarily agree with everything he says, but no reason to attack the bloke.

There are plenty of worse people on the forums...
