If I got a gun licence I could not think of anything worse than having to go to a target shooting club so many times a year or fork out money for all the crap you have to do.
I am over going out shooting anyway and I have no intent to shoot anyone regardless, I just could not do it because I know I would regret it and it's nothing to do with the law but their is also that on top of it all, this stupid mate claims to be protecting his family from Islam.
Yes I am sure there are many bad people who will have guns and are organised criminals and our Governments are totally inept if one does bother to look into such things but our media covers all that up and hides everything they can and never expose such, take the Sydney hostage dude for example, have you seen the list of things that moron had did before all this, when I seen that I was like the PM should be made to resign, this is a joke that that moron was out on the streets let alone in Australia at all, not to mention how many such morons are out there running about free that the laws can not touch and that bastard had his backers who looked after him with lawyers all the way for years, so the government had no hope of tossing him out anyway.

There is a bloke with a site that exposes all this foolishness, so that you can look into such things if you have the time, look it all up at Bernard Gaynor site. he exposes the fact is, so much for trying to be dobbing in such morons is proven just does not work, but people who were going on about such morons for years were disregarded and one Moslem dude went up to the media on TV and he was brushed aside directly and he was a well respected person in the community who knew this person and was warning about him but he himself was rejected totally for doing so and if they listened to him them people would never of been killed.

The dobbing in TV adds are nothing but a front to try make the government look good in the eyes of the people but it's a far cry from the reality truth be told.
Keep reading those blog sites. You're getting a great ejucayshun.

If it was Australia, the outcome would be declaring hoon drivers to be a public health risk.

At least a lot of yanks are saying they don't want condolences and prayers anymore they want congress to get of their fat NRA backside and deliver some action. But Trump (not the AFF member) will veto anything they do.

Thanks for explaining all that (and more) in your post. This is something I hadn't thought about, but I can see with a fast-moving target, and a desire to "eradicate" that a trigger-action semi-auto would be ideal.

It's all well to keep ones information and education only to the level of what the great idolised TV media informs one about and then one would be truly well enough informed, like claiming to be a professor with such information, at least such will have no problems talking small talk with most Aussie couch potato's, who could not truly care less about any subject truly in depth, but claim to be an authority on it all.

I know Bernard Gaynor himself, I don't agree with everything he says nor anyone for that matter and take everything with a grain of salt but I can listen to peoples opinions, is that a crime yet bro. such soon will be the way it's going, with all the clowns who idolise Political Correctness as a god and run about like Nazis trying to in force it's domination over all.

As for guns I don't think that todays generation is mature enough to have a gun, because they are not what I would truly call Men, most are just boys and wimps who take drugs to deal with the real world and who can't control themselves, so if they were punched for being a twat, they would resort to a gun to get back.
I see this type everywhere nowadays, such are just like a jackals, their whole life would fall apart if the shock of reality was to hit them.

You understand these "bloggers" have no media accreditation right..
They are immune from being compelled to tell the truth, publish retractions etc.

Mainstream media DO have these constraints and will be heavily penalised by law if they don't.
FOX news got away with court action because they declared themselves as entertainment, so just like bloggers can tell whatever bull**** they like without consequence.
Although I do note your mate was kicked out of the ADF for his extreme right wing views.
Bob katter also kicked him out of his party for the same reasons.

I wonder if you understand how many complaints agencies like the AFP/FBI receive on a daily basis?
Anyone can throw stones when there are no consequences.

No need to call me bro, I have one already.

You do realise "accreditation" is done within the industry itself. There is no outside, independent statutory body that provides vetting for self proclaimed news providers.

Don't know how closely some of you anti gun advocates are following events in Florida.

I’m very interested in how the shooter just walked out and went to McDonalds. Like to see a floor plan of how he pulled that off. I mean first they won’t go in then they lose the shooter.

First 3 police and the rostered on deputy did not enter or engage the suspect?

Here is why:

Was he kicked out for such views ? no ! not at all because there was no ADF law about right or left views at all in our democracy you know and that's what Gaynor is all about, fighting for a healthy democracy, because we are loosing our rights to such by filth that are trying to undermine that right.
Gaynor was only just pointing out the fact of the law book as it stood, not to mention the fact that he won this case, also that his position in the ADF compels him to point out the rules in fact and this is not like Nazi Germany just yet, but with pricks like so it's well on the way too becoming just like that with moronic thugs coming the raw prawn as they did, no one has that right to dish out all this underhanded treatment he copped, most people in the ADF would run and hide under a rock but Bernard came out swinging against such dictating standover gutless degenerates that had no right to do what they did to Gaynor because the cunning that was used against him was so gutless and as low as you could get and full of nothing but full of malice.

Of cause the rostered so called cops would not do anything, because they would be hung out to dry if they shot the moron and also would not risk their lives in being shot.

In our Tasmania story the cops had that ***** in their sights many times but were not allowed to shoot the bastard, but that ***** went on shooting people.

We had a ***** here in QLD not long ago who shot and killed one of our cops, he was heard using machine gun before this at times and not even the bikie gangs would have him around them, but our laws let a tosser out like that on the loose.

I believe people like such are encouraged by some demonic ratbags in power of our governments to go out on the loose and commit such rubbish, so the governments can work to undermine our democratic rights.
Everyone knows the morons like this people before it happens, is a total full on fruit loop and their is no excuse for letting such people run about loose.

What I put forward is all a fact if you bother to look into it.

Porn may be more dangerous to the well being of some people in the overall picture, because it can or has the ability to undermine a persons judgement and character as can stupid movies with killing people, now I am not saying that such will, but I have seen cases of some and I say some people who are influenced by such, not to mention I know people now on face book that lives have been taking over by it, as it's like they live in the land of face book and I am sure if it was to disappear they would go into something like toxic shock.

More future shocking events like what happended at a Florida school very recently would have to surely make the NRA's current veiwpoints close to untenable.

History suggest when corparate partners jump ship & mums & kids start marching for change, they usually win, how the NRA, the GoP & Dems handle this will be very interesting to watch.

Hope the NRA's, GoP's & Dems blinkers & ear muffs are off & a good compromise happens on this issue, either way serious change may well be in the winds soon in the US.

Hope it ends well for all US stakeholders.

cheers, Maka

Yes there is. Broadcasters are licensed under the department of communications.

Those licenses come with strict limitations.
You think they like broadcasting retractions? They do it because it's a requirement.
The internet has NO such restrictions.

Internet, anyone can say anything they like without fear.

You're going to have to provide a source for this claim as I can't seem to find anything even remotely resembling accreditation for producing news products.

It actually disgusts me that these police are being labelled cowards and their photos being shown around the world. Instigated by a 5 time draft dodger and genuine coward no less.

Who in their right mind would take on a machine gun with a 9mm glock?
I've never fired a glock (or any pistol) but I have been told that hitting anything from a distance is pure luck. Basically they are good for about 20m. I have fired a wide range of military weapons though including M16's and to say you would have a chance is absurd.

There is a group in America screaming about SWAT teams having machine guns and that is overkill.

Police can't win.

Look up broadcast licensing trump.

Dept of communications.
There are so many restrictions mate. We must by law have armed guards outside the news studio when going to air in case some nutter came in and took over. It's how wars/coups are generally started. Grab the tv station.

Try and get access to the newsroom if you're not an employee, you have no chance.

There are so many laws around broadcasting it's not funny!

No one in the media I know are to worried them, they are pretty toothless, their concern is a law suit, look at Bauer Media v Rebel Wilson. Heven't heard of a major outlet having their brief suspended. And they have had plenty of oppotunities, 5 nights a week ACA

There is the sum total of ZERO entries in the Radiocommunications Act 1992 about what constitutes news and particulars of how it is presented.

I know people that work for one of the TV networks and besides the usual staff in the lobby, there are no "armed guards" on site.

Funny about that,I know people who work there too.

I only spent a lifetime in the industry...

Try and walk past the lobby, let me know how far you get.

No company I know of has had their license revoked, it would take an enormous infraction for that to happen but the threat is there.

Usually a retraction is all that's required.
A channel 10 master control operator accidentally switched porn to air one night at 2am.
Hardly legal but rest assured they were rapped over the knuckles.

All the big media players in Australia are fighting the decision in the Wilson case.

Point is mainstream media are held accountable unlike the internet.

A wrap over the knuckles this is why they arn't worried about them.

Internet bloggers are accountable in civil action if they make untrue claims in Australia

You think they like retractions?
Trust me, they wouldn't make them if they weren't a requirement.

You won't be there long if you're the cause of one.
