Well, I've already converted to manual so I don't need to swap, but my old auto is best used as a boat anchor anyway. It was far from being in good nick. 200,000 kms on it's original filter didn't do it a lot of good!

(Now I've bought the thread back to the top. LOL. I think Karl may have made a decision by now)

Not sure, sorry. It obviously came out of a 6, and I have a feeling that V8's used a slightly different BTR auto

Update: Need either transmission now, i converted the car back to auto after destroying the 5 speed. The auto is a bit crook now. Anywho, bback into hibernation for another 6 months for me see ya's

That was my point. The I6 uses a completely different auto.
