I'm guessing the missing icons are these ones as I'm getting 404 errors too.

I’m using safari 7.1 and it’s better for me, just missing some icons.

Just an FYI (in case you didn't know) on this if you keep Preserve Favourites Data checked and delete browsing history it will not actually remove the data on any website you have as a favourite and was kept in mind if you wanted to load a favourite website after you deleted your history that it would load quicker than other sites.

Doing it again

Weird though, I had 5 pages of unread posts, it only did on the first page, not the next 4.

Notice one thread seems to be the issue

Ok, so I'm not real flash with computers, but I'm getting the "new post" icon when I look at my posts page, but there's actually no new posts for the last few days in those particular threads.
Had a look at this thread for clues, and I've eaten my cookies (with milk), but it's still the same day after day...what's next as I'm putting on too much weight?

No, sorry Russ, don't know how to do that unfortunately.
What happens is that I go to my posts, and it shows on the left that there's a new post icon (orange envelope with the page poking out), then I click on that thread to read the new post, but the latest post is actually my last one from a couple of days ago and not a new one, if that makes sense.

Are you clicking on the arrow at the end of the thread that says last posts or are you just clicking on the main thread link? If you click on the main thread link and there are two pages or more to the thread, it tends not to take you to the last or newest post.

Cheers

Thanks Col, the page that I'm having trouble with is entitled...

"Search: Posts made by: Linz"

It's the page that displays all of my posts.

The orange envelope with the letter poking out of it is on the extreme left, indicating that there's a new post after my previous one...next to that, towards the right, is the thread title, and underneath that is a partial copy of my last post in that thread e.g. Re: ...............
When I click on the partial copy, I normally get taken to my last post, which I then scroll down to the next post, which should be a new one...but there isn't any, just my previous one

Linz, I just tried that on the threads that I have posted in and I can see what you are saying. When I click on a thread it does take me to my last post (ie: when I click on my partial post) but I can see new posts under that.

It don't have any issues either when I click on Subscribed threads in my UserCP

I will play around with different ways of accessing posts I have submitted....just to see if I can replicate it for Russell.

Cheers

I'm using Internet Explorer Col...I've also noticed that I have to log in every time I get onto the forums since I cleared the cookie thingo, I usually just click on favourites, then forums and I'm straight in.
I'll ask my nephew on the weekend (computer programmer) and see if he can come up with something also.

Here's a new one. In the pic below you'll see some posts in bold that I've read hours ago.

The icon beside Spoolman's closed thread shows up as an "X" in a box - not too worried about that.

I've flushed the cache, then refreshed the page a few times and they still show up as unread.

Win7 IE11

Edit: When I click on the new posts button everything I've read shows up in fine font - problem only occurs when I look at the subscribed threads page.

Cheers!

It's only partially working, the posts in bold in the above pic are still showing up as unread in the new posts section. Bugger!

Here's a screen shot of the page I'm having trouble with Russ, the "new posts" envelope on the left is showing, but no new posts are in those particular threads.
This page is the only one that I have a problem with on the forums, all the rest that show new posts actually have new posts to read.
