I wanna have a look at one of these. I cant seem to find one hiding out the back of any of my local dealers. Considered one but ended up with the Focus instead.
Ryu, Insurance will entirely depend on your location and driving history. At a guess (and this is a long shot!), If you were rating one, in an outer metro suburb (depending on crime rate and how busy the suburb is), insuring for about $30k, I would take a guess at anywhere around $700-$1200 I'm only basing it roughly off when I was 25 though. Your circumstances could be completely different Are they on any insurance websites yet? You may need to call, or see if the dealership can do a quote for you? Good luck, and enjoy!

I'm pretty sure that for these Fiesta STs, they're heading straight to each individual dealership. I don't think you'll see them in any holding yard, seeing that each dealer is only allocated two in the first delivery from Germany. |

Essendon Ford's holding yard is right around the corner from the dealership, first roundabout turn left and keep going past Victoria Police air wing and its this big looking place with razor wire on top of it and heaps of cars inside if anyone wants to do some car spotting.
Its in Essendon Airport. |

Did you call Shannon's?
As the ST does not appear in their online quote tool. |

great looking cars...not a fan of the rims and they need to get rid of the hard plastics on top of the dash as they reflect on the screen but nothing you can't live with...
moltern orange looks like it will be the next "IT" colour

My dealer just rang me again. My car is being prepped for delivery tomorrow. I may change my mind about the black wheels, meaning I could get the car Thursday or Friday. I'd be keen on getting the wheels from the Focus Titanium but done in black. I love those wheels. Clean simple five spoke. Sent from my HTC_PN071 using Tapatalk 2 |

Unfortunately they will not fit mate. The Focus is a 5x108 stud pattern, the Fiesta is 4x108.

It was worse with the WS and WT Fiesta...the WT switched to 4x100 so WS wheels didn't fit.

Yeah I plan on doing a bit of work to this little thing. I'd be keen to go down the Mountune road, but no ETA as to when they'll bring that here, and I'm impatient haha.
I was going to stop in to see the guys at Tunehouse in Sydney. They said they'd be keen to see if they can get into the ECU. Hoping it's the same unit they use in Europe as I know companies like Revo already have tunes in development. Cobb said they won't be making anything for the ST for our market as the USA ECU is different to the one we get. I also know Milltek makes a full TBE for the ST as well. POWER! |

Anyone curious about insurance. The ST just showed up on the NRMA systems.
I bought my policy for $910. Comprehensive. $650 excess. Windscreen repair and hire car. I'm 34. No claim discount for life. Have had a few accidents over the years. Both at fault and not. That said, I have six policies with NRMA. I love their service. Sent from my HTC_PN071 using Tapatalk 2 |

I just wrapped up the purchase of my ST. The dealership was very accommodating as we recently bought a Focus Titanium from them and have sold me the ST at 28.5K on the road. No tint, but I'll get that sorted later.
If anyone in Melbourne is interested, City Ford had a Molten Orange ST in stock as of yesterday. They wouldn't (or couldn't) budge on price, however. I'll check back in re: insurance shortly. |
