this is correct..

i work at a place that dismantles and rebuilds headlights.., in exactly the same way that your bumper will be pulled down and fixed..

if you really want it, chances are you could find out who the bumper repair place is and buy it back off them..

your bumper would be sublet to them, if its deemed repairable it will be repaired or if its recomended to them to replace it, it will be replaced and they will use your old one to repair and on-sell..

anywayz, damn at the $$, least its insuerd though

have you thought about a putting a bullbar on as it stop this happening again as worked for me as the wife was always banging the into walls becouse she counldn't see were the were the bumper was and now the she uses the bulbar to line the car up when see parks it

The xr is hers,long story but to cut to the chase I bought a new ute,suddenly there is an XR8 in the driveway for a weekend test drive,you can guess the rest.

As for the carbon fibre don't I wish might withstand the brickwalls etc a bit better.
