BA = not eseries... thats a fairly obvious answer
sheesh. even i simply said EF! But... i wonder how many of those that have voted EA, have attempted to turn their EA into something that no longer looks like an EA (tail lights, c pillar, badges)

not really...
it depends, alot of people mod their car to look like something else. or they plan to upgrade to an EF/EL coz they like them better. Had i not picked EF, EB is a close section as i almost ended up having one. infact i own an EB, shame its a wreck :P

Well this is a predicament!
I say EA-ED shape. Only because it looks tougher; aka ED XR8 Sprint (or any XR for that matter)?! BUT..EF/EL is a much classy'er looking car. Id kill for a EL Ghia MANUAL but since thats a pain in the **** Ill keep my EA/ED. There is a maroon EF ghia for sale in Geelong. EL GT rims, lowered, tints, and the rear garnish is painted/anonised (SP?) gold and it looks sooo hot. But its an auto :( OT - is it a bitch to put an EF/EL dash/trim in a EA/ED?

After having a EA, and EB in the family, and owning a EF, then an EL i would say the EL for sure. One of the best looking fronts IMO is the EF Fairmont, (not as much as the EL XR.. but close! :P )
However i do like the fat shape of the EB/ED, spesh when its dumped on big rims. Got a boy race feel to it |

For the NL Tickford Fairlane for sure.
I think its Daniel on the forums who has got a really nice example of what was in my opinion the pinnacle of development of the E series. |

EF because all Variants were consistently nice. Even the GLi Futura front was good looking. They came with nice wheels, nice hubcaps on the base models, and similar refinement to the EL. The XR6's were weapons in the EF range.
The bloated baloon EL Gli Futura front was a fright. Looked terrible I reckon and the EL's came out with whats gone down in history as the WORST wheel and hubcap designs ford made Pre BA eg. base XR6 wheels, or the Limited Sapphire rims... Ugh. (The only nice wheels in the EL range were the ones that had been carried over from ED EF) However the bodykits, and the fairmont fronts were nice as! Too inconsistent anyways IMO therefore that is why the EF should win between EF and EL... And EA's???? Are you guys Crazy!!!????? |

Just gonna point out that it's all down to personal choice/preference - as I said earlier, I like the EA, not just because I have one but because it looks tough and was a major improvement over XD-XF series. Although the XD was cool.
But EF's??? Come on, they were hideous - would've looked much better with some sort of grille.
