Good write up Chris on whats unfolded over the past few months.....I remember at Heathcote in April your car running in the 14's but I knew then that there was something special about to happen with your car and what you have done tonight has proved it.
We have had some good discussions over the past 6 months and you have always helped me and given me advice when I needed it ( and even when I didn't ) not only about the car but personal stuff also. I made a comment on another thread today suggesting that I thought there where a lot of quick Boss powered cars out there that we ( forums memebers) don't know about......I will stand by that comment but also state here that without doubt you have the quickest Boss 260 in the country and my hat goes off to you for all your R & D. Keep up the good work mate. Cheers Brad

Once again well done bro. If you say an 11 is possible thats were my money would be laid, you haven't aimed at a time and not run it and as always you let the timeslip's talk.
Again and again you put the hard yards and long hours in, not just into yours but customer's cars as well and the results truly speak for themselfs. As time goes by im sure we'll see many more hard hitting Boss's rolling out your doors, Bring it on mate. Go home and spend time with your girl you've earned it. |

I think the unopened LSI record is around the 11.5 mark and 115 mph, but beleive a little weight reduction may have taken place, maybe the boys from G&D could answer as I think they may be involved

I know of a LS1 at WSID (has cams etc) in full race trim fully stripped etc runs 11.7 (mid 1.6 60') and 12.4 (high 1.8 60') in street trim big difference. I dont think there is much difference in these motors anymore as i said before when someone fully strips one of these boss powered cars big stall and get a say low 1.7 60 (quiet achievable) for example chris's car on a good day would do a say 11.8 or proberly less. You would think the boss motor would respond very well to the weight reduction as they already have plenty of good grunt on tap.
Hey why not even up the playing field get a true comparison the boss will shine. |
