Only reason while they were driving it on the street was that they had a photo shoot today for Extreme Street Magazine. Driving it at the DRAGS isnt thrashing it is it .

Congrats Croc, that is a very nice looking car and I am glad it has run well for you.

Very impressive times first time out. Very comparable combination to Brenx's CHI headed 393, but making far more power. Is that why the CHI flunkies have stayed away from this thread? Not one word of congratulations from any of them. Very poor manners...

I congratulated him via MSN and no it's nothing like my 393 combination. It's miles away from even similar.

I'd say trolling without even an introduction is poor manners actually.

[QUOTE=onlooker59]Very impressive times first time out. Very comparable combination to Brenx's CHI headed 393, but making far more power.

Yes you are right you are making far more dyno hp in Crocs car but showing less of it at the track ......................so far.

Brenxs flat tappet cam 393 making close to 600 dyno hp running 125mph in a approximately 3500lb car = 525 hp on a slide rule.

Crochunters solid roller cam 393 making 670 dyno hp running 129mph in a approximately 3400 lb car = 560 hp on the slide rule.

Brenx is 70 odd hp of his dyno numbers and Croc is 100 odd hp off.

Im sure if Brenx had a roller cam and a workshop doing the setup work on his car, and driving it for him................................. he'd run quicker also.

Actually come to think of it, maybe Brenx should start his own shop. He is, after all, closer to his dyno hp on the track than.......

Default setup

correction comp engines did not do as you say the setup on crocs car, they did the engine thats all.and they only raced it as they had finished there work and there was a meeting just after at calder and croc couldnt make it over so comp offered to drive it and croc agreed.and croc is a very compitent driver after all he has allready previously owned a mid 10 second falcon.it has only had one meeting compared to brenx who has had a few and as brenx himself would no you dont get the most out of them after only one meeting, and knowing exactly how crocs car ran at calder i can guarentee it will be faster and show closer to its dyno numbers.

Doesn't the slide measure in RWHP anyway? The dyno figures seem pretty accurate to me if that is the case.

Impressive times croc, and with that mph your running i'm sure there will be more ET in the car. I was just wondering what size slicks your running on the back?

Just got off the boat and back home now. Zoran has done a unreal job with the motor and it certainly has some balls.

looks like its a bit lean croc, and only a 500rpm spread between max torque and max hp that seems strange?
possibly a bit more in it with more tuning?

wonder why its loosing oil pressure as rpm's climb..
