Exclamation Yasmin's understudy

Well, that was quite an interesting read ... I was actually chosen in the final 3 (Rene, Yasmin and I) that filmed the pilates of the show to be sent to Network 10. The reason I wasn't chosen was because I was too young (I'm 22) and although the casting and production crew put me through, Channel 10 didn't think that I would go through with the commitment/marriage side of the show. So I guess from the general public reaction it's good I didn't get through in the end ALTHOUGH I honestly think it would have been a whole lot more interesting with a young girl and young spunky guys ;) And that is if it was me or someone else.
Also, throughout all the audition and final filming stages the show was portrayed quite differently to me. : The panel of people judging them etc were not a part of it and it was actually general public males voting to put themselves on the show and it was also not the public's vote as to who gets to go on dates, it was the bride to be's descision entirely.
So, I was looking forward to the show being aired and with such a large advertising lead up campaign thought it would be quite good and was looking forward to seeing what I would have doing ... but, in the end, I, too was fairly disappointed. Wasn't at all what I had expected and didn't like it too much. Meanwhile, I have been getting messages all day from family/friends paying me out cos "my" show got axed ... : I wasn't even on it!!! LOL

I am so happy for you that you were not on it, I'm glad I won't be afflicted by any of the annoying ads for it anymore too.

oi! 24 is THE best ever show on TV IMO. Last season was over in 6 weeks as they were playing 4 Hours a week , which was brilliant.

Pity. i was looking forward to the "Wedding night honeymoon suite" ep.

Now they got to pay for all the PR and costs involved in this train wreck.
I hear they are gunna launch a revamped version called:
"Yasmin's Going on the Game"
-coming soon to a street corner near you
