It was a miscalculation on my behalf. I mis-read the price on a group buy on the XR5 forum. You're right, anything between $200-250 is a reasonably good price.

You see, I'm a drummer and I have great difficulties handling numbers greater than four.

I'm keen on the rear bar, but not the front.

I doubt there is a real need for a front one, as we are trying to fight understeer as it is

Sorry to dig open an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the whiteline rear bar will fit on an '06 LS sedan? Front brace would also fit I presume?

The whiteline swaybars certainly fit, have a look around the website.

For what it's worth, I wouldn't bother with a front swaybar.

Rear - yes definitely

i'm sure a pro could do the rear in under 1/2 hr so factor in whatever the hourly rate is. (i have no idea how much people charge by the hour btw). the front i think is a bit more difficult. apparently you need to drop the subframe to get to the bar? or so i've heard. that i imagine might take a while longer.

but i feel the front really is unnecessary. yes it will make the car corner a bit flatter, but ultimately it will only make the understeer even worse, which is the last thing you want on an intrinsically understeering fwd car. save the money and just put in a rear bar. if you are still unsatisfied with the handling after that then its time for new springs/shocks.
