I've had an indian guy try and sell me a 3 phone once. I showed him my LGu8120 and told him that I'm already with 3 prepaid and Optus Plan. He then proceeded to try and sell me another 2 LG phones at $15 a month. He wouldn't let up. He tried to convince me that I can call my friends on 3 for free, but none of my friends are on 3, they're on Optus! Again he didn't listen. As if that was enough, when he knew I wouldn't buy it, he tried to see if I could get my parents, or my brother out to talk to him, no doubt to try and sell them the phones. My parents can barely use a nokia 3310, how the hell would they get their heads around a u8120.
The main reason I don't like 3, is that I call up my friend on Optus Pre-paid, and after 20 mins, I get a message saying that I have less than $10 left on my account, after I had just recharged with $30. It was almost like $1 a minute for a voice call! Not to mention the 1/2 hour wait at the 3 shop for a sales assistant to become free, so I could get the recharge. Believe it or not, these people are answering calls that a call centre should be doing!! |
