I'll bet they still do. When you have hundreds of cars sitting there you do not want to be getting keys mixed up, it would be a major hassle.

And anyway, if thieves are that brazen they will get the keys another way, maybe with a knife to a security guards throat? Much worse.

Holy crap!!!

I've seen them in the flesh (metal). They were pretty banged up. It didn't show in the pix but the green one needed new A pillars. I think the est bill was 26k. So 38k + 26k = 62k for a ViV vehicle. I hope whoever bought them can do it cheaper than that or they will be ripping cash. The black one was worse but I didn't hear a the quote.

Saw that in a thread in the FPV 5.0 section. Pathetic on the seller's part when they make up a fake story and stick with it to fool some innocent buyer. Then I saw the suburb it's listed from and it all made sense. There's a lot of that going on up there.

Someone who is close to the seller should place another add on gumtree with pics of the bent car and refer to the fixed car. Add need to be close to the area so it will come up in a 100klm search ect. What a barstool. Hardly minor damage.

I think he'll have trouble selling it as you can't normally get finance on a vehicle listed on REVs as previously written off. Not too many people about that will come up with $65k in savings to buy it.

What fake story has he made up?
The address listed in the ad shows up on street view as a panel shop in an industrial area so I can't see that he's trying very hard to hide anything.
He might even be (shock, horror) a white man who buys damaged cars, repairs them properly then sells them for a living.

Yeah, imagine someone having the nerve to buy something and then trying to make a profit on it.No-one does that.

Actually looks pretty nice in green. The irony is that the paint and attention to detail on the front half of the car is probably better than factory.

When I first saw the ad this morning it was stating "Minor Front End Damage".

Anyone interested in it should do their due diligence.

A living or a killing from selling LEMONS, I've seen them crabbing on the road because of pox beaters popping up in the back streets. This turnover business should be spanked next.

Must be hard making such a massive profit, without feeling anything about the next poor bloke that always wanted a GT and found this perfect example with no catches... Thats the problem with the world these days, people like this thinking it's ok.
