Actually that's pretty funny, Mitch, because you're going from a smaller yet more advanced (variable timed Duratec head) 1.6 to a larger capacity yet more primitive engine (non variable timed Zetec head).

Look for an ST170 owner selling their 2.0L Duratec ;) Or an owner with his back turned to his car for a few seconds...

hehe well the 2.0L 97kw (i think its 97 anyway) would cut rank in my car
just had a snap at my mate in a 3L maxima and he didnt get me by much, another 15kw and ill have him.

I'll be doing this v8 focus conversion kit next year on 1 of my Focus.
Plus I can get these conversion kit plus upgrade parts...TeeHee
I'll be getting into drag racing for 4's and v8 racing
you know there is 3 different types of V8 engines you can get.
I'm sure you could drop a bigger engine in.


You can get a 5L 302cubic inch-345HP GT-40 aluminium head.
A 2000 Mustang Cobra 4.6 dohc 4V engine 320HP @ 6000RPM, 315FT./IBS of torque @4750RPM.
and last of all...the biggest one........
5L Modular crate engine assembly, 400HP with over 365FT./IBS of torque.
