Nice video , looks interesting to say the least but highly doubt we'll ever see any here . We are now the backwater of the Ford empire. They won't even give us a V6 family style sedan option for Mondeo/Fusion platform.. The Ford GT will never see the light of day here either.. Officially a backwater in this regard.
I'd love to be wrong though . |

The GT supercar and GT350 were limited builds IIRC, so theres no real need to sell them outside of America.

I noticed the Grand Tour had a preview for season 3, featuring a Mustang. The first two seasons aired starting December. Season 3 is bumped to January. Coinciding with the launch of the GT500 because they have already filmed it, but are under embargo? That’s my theory.

I wonder if ford will consider an export hi-po model given the success of the Bullit?

I think they need to consider it seeing as the Australian market does not really have a good choice of high performance cars you can buy brand new outside of European models which are incredibly expensive (Think AMG and M model BMW).
The success of the mustang should tip them over the edge but will wait and see I suppose.

If it actually comes to Australia it will be priced well north of 100k.
$115,000 is my guess. And even at that price the Mustang is well out of its comfort zone. At 50 to 75k its ok but the lack of quality would really stick out at 100+

It will probably be the best all-rounder to come out of North America - well, for it's price anyway.

How come it’s based on the old model?
I hope they bring it here, they’d be mad not to. |
