What a pathetic article.
Victorians werent given a choice to watch a show made in the country. So you download what was free to every other state the night before, so you can also form your own opinion and share views crap, crap, crap. But no now we are back to being Piracy theives and raping the industry of millions. Cant say I know ONE victorian who would pay for a copy. If your going to BAN something you BAN it. What did these idiots think was going to happen. Each state was going to remain in its 'cone of silence'. Bloody twits. So I ask you who are the real CRIMINALS? The ones who are thinking of nothing but lining there pockets. |

I thought it was very average. Dragged up lots of old aussie actors that have been out of work for a while.
How the main guy and his partner take on a whole night club full of people and put 13 in hospital then 2 police arrive and a little female copper with her baton whacks him across the back of the leg and down he goes and she cuffs him up, weak as pi$$. Lots of nice jugs though.

Yep. I endured the first 10 minutes of it before I turned it off. That was enough. Crap actors. Crap acting. Crap everything. I want my 10 minutes back. |

it was known as the two men in grey suits brawl at the time from memory .the 13 were all normal business men and women having a few drinks after work ,not a full nightclub all in brawl,in show Jason is skinny little bloke where as the real Jason was a gym junky muscle-bound thug in real life, still short though so at least they got that rightthey attacked a group of people who were not fighters with pool cues and also used bar stools, very brave

The Supreme Court will not be happy with those Victorians who have circumvented the temporary ban. Lets just say I wouldnt want to be a juror found to have breached the law to watch it, worse still if they get half way through a trial before finding out.
Ch 9 will be pi55ed off because they will have to answer for it to the court and the potential backlash in the public eye. Moreover, Ch 9 is potentially exposed to lawsuits from the families of the innocent in all this, families who may be denied justice as a result of a corrupted jury pool. Not to mention anyone portrayed who is found not guilty. How will you feel when someone gets off because there isnt an impartial jury to be found, and makes out with a small fortune? Talk about laughing, given the rap Alphonse beat, its ironic really. If that happens, watch the legal nightmare unfold as they are forced into trial by judge, or a jury is imported at taxpayers expense, or as stated, they are set free due to a clear breach of impartial justice. Or worse still for Victoria, if the trial itself needs to exported to another jurisdiction. Ch 9 were reckless, it should not have been aired anywhere as Victoria is not a vacuum isolated from the world. That said, I watched it, I thought the actors portrayed their parts well. |

Watched it since I love watching crime stories but the acting was absolutely awful. Perhaps it was because they dug up a whole bunch of fossils that are rusty at their craft, I don't know. It does detract from it a fair bit but still a good watch, IMO.

I downloaded from the source shown above - 5,500 people downloading at the same time. Court order?....IF I end up on a jury for the killing I will tell them I saw it interstate and get off the jury - I wouldn't want to be on that jury anyway - would you?
You do need a little background on who is who for it because it does just launch straight into it. There isn't much character development before it just gets into some s_x and violence. That said I did enjoy it...looking forward to next week |

Looks like torrents are already doing the rounds:
http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=underbelly I'm sure more people will watch it now it's censored from Victoria. Sometimes the best way to keep a low profile is not to yell out 'You can't watch this!' Good publicity for the show... |

I enjoyed the 2 hr premier, it helps when you have followed the whole story for the last 10 years as there is a lot to it.
They have cast actors that are similar to most of the real characters too. There are a few things they have added to no doubt make it more appealing for the series but looking foreward to seeing the rest of it. |
