Wow....that's quite a talent you've got there RG....being able to tell me what I think from just a couple of posts. Is there a course I can take to learn that stuff?
You'll note that the actual incident was only half of my point. The other half was related to the crappy newspaper. I too am surprised that this has generated so much discussion. That's what I get for coming to the pub. Best that I just stick to the real car forums perhaps. |

Right-O. I'll go with the semi-agreement and apologise for being so sensitive.
Unfortunately we've just added two more posts to this nearly pointless thread. |

I know for a fact if my parents owned a Veyron they'd let me drive it...I'm 22. I bet you'd sing a different tune if it was say mum and dads volvo...The car, age and financial position are irrelevent. Quite simply, the young fella took the car out for a strap and got busted. Boo Hoo, right?

To answer the question, I would have sung a different tune about mum & dad's Volvo, but the second part about it being irrelevant has confused me. I didn't realise that the Volvo was in the same class as a Veyron. They must have come a long way since the boxy cars that I remember. |

B.) To some people the price of a Veyron is pocket change. Those people are called Veyron owners.

Being a past sponsor of F1 teams..and having that sort of money..I'm thinking the Father and Son have driven cars with some serious grunt before being busted in the Veyron. But point taken..when I get my Veyron don't let my boys drive it...got it!!
