The diesel figures look more off than the petrol.
Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same engine weighs 2.3 t and has a claimed economy of 7.5l/100km. So how does the Ram use over 50% more fuel...
fwiw family friends of ours have a 2013 1500 Ram 5.7 with the old 6 speed auto. It has cylinder cut out, air suspension that lowers at highway speeds and grille shutters to supposedly reduce drag. He gets 900km between fills. 120l tank. Mostly highway driving, and obviously doesn't take the whole 120 litres at the pump.
