HOLY CRAP chief i'm betting those employers would dread the day that work covers walks through their doors. However at the moment if there was an accident, in which someone is fataly or chronically injured, the company would be held fully accountable.. swing that stick at them and tell them that their H+S is as screwed up as the middle managment and it all needs a clean out. If they keep up the bullshyte just call work cover, or threaten to do so.
You cannot be sacked for being tight on safety, just cover your butt with documentation. It only takes one to make a difference, it only takes one to report an issue, it only takes one mistake to take a life. |

I can't believe my eyes one forklift lifting another and the damn thing is close to tip over.
PPL I don't care what you do just do it safely and if there are breaches of the OH&S act bloody well report it...remember as has been said its your bum on the line...or should I say life. Redrum unfortunately this is so true of some state gov departments....too many dinosaurs....the sooner they retire the better. rapidxr6....glad to see your settling into your job as a union rep and keeping them honest...well as best you can...keep up the good work.
