Lazy, good for nothing Commonwealth Public Servant. I won't say which department, but I've worked in the same department since 94 and have work in most areas of the business and IT.

Kitchen hand at Spargos. I don't own a car but when I had the XR6 I paid to have it serviced but did things like the brakes and suspension myself. I'm pretty thrifty so I try not to pay others to do things I can do cheaper.

Im a Vehicle Trimmer.
Work on my cars is performed by me based on the right balance of the following: - Money - Time - Enthusiasm Strangely enough, time seems to be the only thing out of balance these days. |

Aircraft maintenance engineer for a small charter airline based on the Gold Coast, maintaining a fleet of gas turbine (turbo prop) and piston engine aircraft.
And when it comes to my cars, I do everything myself except suspension and transmission work. Unless I dont have enough time away from work and then i have to pay someone else to service my car for me ScoopED

another electrical linesman here. 5 and a half years this time round , 11 years first go at it. had a 9 year change of career in between and ran my own window tint / rust proofing / car security business.
i do nearly all my own car work. my father was a mechanic and my 2 older brothers are both mechanics so i`ve picked up a bit. pretty much the only things i dont have a go at myself is the hi-tec electrical stuff on my BA because i dont know how to test it or have the testers.

I'm a doctor - I get paid to tell people things that they already know. I'm not sure why they keep coming to see me.
Working on my car is a hobby. I try to do as much as I can and learn as much as I can along the way. |

QLD State Manager for an Electronic Security/CCTV contracting company (we look after all brands of a national retailer on a national level) - at the moment though my time is split between running the QLD operation and still project managing jobs directly.
I used to work for Qantas as an Avionics Maintenance Engineer however the pay was terrible. I do all of my own work on my cars, although lately I am finding it hard to find time and motivation

Play with train sets in inland central Queensland...
Diesel or electric, 1.7km long coal trains, for QR. Love the diesels! 4000 and 4100 class locomotives, two in the front, two remotes half way alongthe train, each fitted with a 140 liter V12 two-stroke turbocharged diesel putting out 4000hp and a huge top end rev limit of 900rpm...awesome! |

Been in IT for a total of 35 years and have never met anyone who has done it as long. Bought my own car hoist for home and do all my own servicing. |
