pour it down the sink haha.
No, my best mates dad has a transport business and they do all the truck servicing in house, i deposit my oil in their recycling drums to get taken away and used as some for of energy (some mob comes and gets it for free). Id never dump oil down the sink or just in the bin!

I'm a bit greener these days. Lately I've put it into a 20 litre drum. Not sure what I'll do when its full though. Probably try to find a place that accepts the oil, and pour it out there.

yea i work in the railway so there is heaps of places for me to get rid of it in the rite mannor but it is also good for garden edging made out of wood it keeps the termites away

pour it on the driveway, to stop the dust.... epa dont like it though, or we put it on fence posts to stop rotting...

man the dump costs just under $10 for anything- even a bottle of oil. i've considered leaving it in their driveway../
an interesting point- I was watching a kiddies edumacational show (totally wild type thing) where this lady reckoned to seal the container and throw it in the wheelie bin.......i have a coupla times but I didnt think it was the thing to do...did TV lie to me? change around 30 000k's or so when it tests up as buggered. |

Any place that charges to take oil away is ripping you off... If you have enough amounts (1,000+ltrs) certain companies actually give you money for it!
I have a couple 20ltr drums which get filled and then taken to the tip which has a recylcing facility for it. Throwing oil & oil filters into normal domestic garbage....... :togo: |

It's reused as cheap brand oil. Thats what we did at ultra tune 10 years ago.
