OMG I cant believe so many people here want bloody holdens! Thats a disgrace. I laugh everytime I see a fully sik commy with negative camber on the rear to match the leaning tower of pisa! Those idiots think its looks cool, but dont realise it fudges up your tyres! Tools!
In reality, I would get a mk1 or 2 supra or a Peugeot 205 Gti.

Only the cars with IRS have camber like that cos they have no choice when the car is lowered. I would be very happy with an early rx3 with turbo rotor, or datto 1600 with a jap turbo 4 in it. I would also love to own a manual gen 3 and I would have if the turbo AU had fallen through. Sorry guys

But they cant correct it when the car is dumped. My mate spent $1800 lowering his VS and he put the kits on the rear and they are still on an angle as pedders couldnt straighten them to be like normal.
My other mate took his non IRS VS to the same place and his wheels are still normal and his car is lower.

LOL, I almost purchaced a VS Clubby the other week... but then a couple of my brain cells kicked into gear and lead me away from the dark side.
I've also been looking at getting either and R32 GTR or R33 GTS25-T (lol), but as someone else has already mentioned, i'm a bit iffy about this decision because of the stigma attatched to owning such a car (and insurance + being on P's etc...).

R100 with a turbo rotor VL Turbo Gemmy Turbo They are in no particular order, there's something about a buzzing rotor that's appealing haha.

I'd go for a big black (gloss) CL/CM Valiant (Regal?) with heaps of chrome, small diameter wirey-spokey rims (silver/platinum, not gold) or large diameter with whitewalls, and of course the 318 fireball (or a 265 hemi). If LPG excise isn't introduced, I'd have it built to run on straight LPG, otherwise premium all the way :p

If you seriously wanted a VL turbo, then I know your type; pitty you didn't get one. As Danny said, they are the ones that choose to do it. It stuffs their cars geometry up while destroying their tyres; I dont care but it just shows how little they know. But it looks cool so its ok yeah....

First choice: Aston Martin (if I could afford it!)
Other (affordable) choices: '73 Oldsmobile Delta or a nice wee Charger.

He's a Geelong man, as am I and to date I have not seen a single EA/EB/ED to match any one of the 5 VL turbo's around here that I know of. I can guarantee there's certainly more! One VL turbo owner that I know of has snapped his driver's seat three times from hitting boost on several occasions! I'd take that over my EB that's for sure.
