It is a little steap, $5000 max i say, the k's and the xr6 badge alone keep it at that price, your lucky dealers in adelaide will try to milk $10,000 out of you for that car.

Check for little leaks under the car anything that suggests any cover ups, check the back gards on the inside for rubber spray or if they have been painted over, and yes get someone else to go over it for you.

From my side it looks good but you can never tell from pictures. And yes make them a cash offer, of $5,300 and ask them what does the car owe them, that is one way you can catch them out, eg if they told you i did this and that to it you know it had something wrong with it, and depends on what they say and what you see you will know they are trying to milk you.

I Know i used to work for a ca yard.

i payed $6800 for my car which is exactly the same except in marine blue and dosent have electric windows (why does this car get electric windows and my car dosent????), also my car already had the 2.5" cat back exhaust system, cd player, light tint and it had 162,000kms on the clock.
there was another one i was looking at when i brought mine and it was the same but in Cobolt blue and it was going for $7000 from a salesyard, mine was private deal.

insurance....well im 18 and im through AusBrokers (i think the insuance company is QBE) and i payed about $670 this year.

i really want to know how come this car has electric windows??!!please explain someone!!

cheers

by the way these cars go pretty hard stock!!

insurance shouldn't matter. i pay just over $800 full comp (i'm 20) with all mods listed. with Young And Cool. So much cheaper than Just Car's. i'd go for it but definitely haggle them down. do a twin light conversion later on.

:( I really wanted to snap this car up.
But due to a few things going on in my Life atm I've decided to pull out.
So buying a new car isn't on the agenda anymore :(.
I'll end up keeping My ED Classic. Might Spend a couple of Hundred on it & Tidy it up.
Thanks so much for the help. If anyone is interested in this car. Snap it up its a great buy.
