Been addicted to Nudies pure orange juice (21 oranges) while I've been in Sydney, don't know whether its the heat or humidity but I've been downing 2lt containers a day at work.
Afraid of turning orange.

I'm getting heart palpitations just thinking about my full list so I'll just keep it short.
I don't mind a pint and parma every now and then in a country pub, or a good pie and sausage roll with a flavoured milk. My go-to food at home is usually spaghetti bolognese. I can eat a bowl that big it would choke an Elephant. And I wont say no to a T-bone cooked on the BBQ with 2 over-easy eggs, some steak chips covered with salt & pepper and a generous amount of Worcestershire sauce. Lets not talk about pizza and kebabs. |

Strangely nice really cold drinks with ice.
Virtually just above freezing. Something bitey like a coke or such. Less sugar the better of course but really like it like flavoured mineral water Other things, a good sauce, mayo or aioli. Loved the Coles burger Big Mac sauce until got sick of it. A burger home made isn't a burger without sauce dripping from it. And of course bacon Sent from my ASUS_Z00AD using Tapatalk

I actually have a my car fridge in the family room, running on 240V, filled with Pepsi Max cans, and the thermostat is set on 0°C. The ones in the corners are perfect - they have little bits of ice/slush floating around near the top of the can - not enough to make it like a slushie, but enough to get icy tingles as the liquid enters your mouth. I've been partial to the lemon mineral water for a while. My 7 year old niece who lives with us loves lemonade, solo & other sugary fizzy drinks, but I don't like her having them, because she has a family history of diabetes (her mother is insulin dependant on numerous needles per day, but still binges on sugar & just shoots to neutralise). So I compared the sugar in flavoured mineral water and it's so much less than commercial sugar soft drinks it's not funny. She's been able to eat lemon slices since she was under a year old, so the tartness doesn't bother her. And burgers - home made, are the best. Missed out on doing them over charcoal tonight because of the rain, but the Weber Q is still a good back-stop (it's under cover). Don't tell me that about the Coles burger sauce - I have 4 bottles of it in the pantry. Although I have it maybe once a week or less, so it will be a while before I'm over it. Tonights burgers were home-made patties, with various secret herbs & other additions I put in, onions, eggs, bacon, cheese, and thinly sliced chorizo done on the BBQ too. Came out awesome, and left plenty of drip evidence on the plate. |

So many good snack and favourite tucker ideas here . Here's another one if I may . How many of us have done this ? A proper stew , full of beef or lamb meat and vegies , home made thickener to bring it all together and eat it with a little dollop of mashed potato . Beautiful .,.
THEN !!!!!! Make so much you know you're going to have some left over of course . In the next day or two , you get a saucepan , gently re heat without burning it , medium toast some bread , a bit of butter then add the" second coming" stew on top ......HEAVEN ..Just tastes even better second time round . Always does...... Even a bit of fried left over vegetables mashed up together is unreal , some call it Bubble and Squeak is not a bad snack either ...GOOD OLD HOME MADE BEEF OR LAMB STEW RULES THOUGH.. |

I used to love doing slow-cooked lamb shanks. Then they became trendy & 4x the price, so I don't do them anymore.
A nice beef cheek stew goes down well though - a workmate from Texas gave me a recipe using coke & bourbon. Definitely better than using red wine as the sauce base. The bourbon & coke sauce (less coke, more bourbon) is used in his slow-cooker pulled pork shoulder recipe too - that's just divine when it's cooked just right. |

Haha, I used to work at sealord shellfish in nelson, still never got sick of eating the buggers.
Used to stand outside the cooker waste chute and eat the unopened mussels as they rolled down the chute. Surprised I never turned into a mussel really. |

Brisket used to be cheap, so too beef ribs, but all the hipsters are onto them now, quadrupling prices in less than a decade. Osso Bucco as well. Even pork shoulders have become dear lately compared to what they used to be. |

I have to be off red meat for a while though including pork for health reasons. But when that is past I will be meat like white on rice. I like the look of the menu at The Haus too.

That's pretty much what happens to me when I go there. But Ive been there not long ago and the prices were about 25% cheaper at the time. Not sure whats happening there but looks like they are making some serious moola there at the moment. That said, Ive never left feeling hungry. haha. Im due a date there again thats for sure.
