everyone riding bicycles during the 70's oil embargo. back pedal brakes and chain guards. (or a skirt guard for the lady) leave your bike outside the shops unlocked. leave your car outside the shops unlocked with all the windows down. quarter windows.

haha dragsters, originally we considered it a girly bike - tassels on the handle grips - sorry rok.
Then we put extended forks on them and cut down the rear sissy bar Very harley look. Talking Remember when - having a pedal slip falling down on the top bar, not good, no not good at all ouch !

Still got many of my childhood Matchbox cars too, but how about a shout out to the Remember when there were grandpas quite happy to knock up a wooden service station in their shed for us to use with our Matchbox cars.

build a car outside. build a car without a hoist. spray paint a car outside without fear of neighbourhood Karen's. use Tramp rods. tow your own car without authorities looking over your shoulder. enjoy polishing a chrome bumpers. build a boat on the mooring. careen a boat without a slipway.

I honour my god, I serve my queen, I salute the flag? Marty might be referring to something else, but we used to recite that in infants/primary school in the late sixties. I think it was called “the pledge”.
