Mine didnt catch to start with till you hit a bump while cornering then you will regret not rolling them. Its less then a 100 bucks to do it, only need to do the fronts don't worry about the rears

It does look nice, but I favour the series 3 now, that I own one.

I love the AU series 1 body kit from the mid backward's but I prefer the AU II/III front end, if that makes sence.

Only 1 thing i would suggest is go SL on the front, the SSL looks good being so low but i have troubles with scraping the front on things, i almost have no pods left lol .. the 20's have raised the height a tad but when i had the 17's on, it was real bad, that's just my opinion.

i think i already have sl in front and is low enough. i went to pedders and there lowest springs were the same hight as my rears

Hmmm I put ssl front and back on my s2 xr6 and it hardly dropped. Were the shocks changed as well? Btw that is one nice xr8 those 20's look so good on it. If you don't mind me asking how much did you get those for because I've been looking for a set.

Cheers
Matt

I wouldn't use pedders, find someone who deals with kings as the SSL will drop it too my height, you may need short strut shocks aswell, that should drop it enough to have the sill look level i'd say.

I've never used kings springs on a 6cyl so i don't know how they sit, only v8's and it drops them plenty. The wheels & tyres were just under $1600.

It only scrubs lightly in 1 place since owning the wheels and thats turning right at the end of a street near me, you stop in a dip in the road and you get a slight scrub if you dont come to a complete stop there but other than that i've had no other troubles.
Springs are Kings SSL on both front and rear.

Something doesn't look right to me, maybe it's the real low profile rubber ?.
But the rim's look good on the Black AU.

The tyre is 225 wide which makes it sit in on the rim abit, i will get 245 tyres next time and it will bring the wall out better and more visable which should make it look better aswell as drive better also.
