Can someone confirm?
Do you need to change the Radiator support? Is there any cutting of AU required? |

Hiya fellas, been reading through this old thread and im wondering what the price is for a front end conversion. I have a 99 AU1 ute and am not sure wether to convert it into a BA or a XR front as i cannot stand the stock front.

Mechanic mate of mine have done their own conversion in adelaide.. Got BA/F front end, bonnet and front quarters.. Not sure if they have the AU te50 rear spoiler or the BA GT spoiler at the Back,, got the BA style xr8 side skirts although i think theres side skirts on an AU kit that looks similar and i think they have the BA rear bumper,, they got a sick Blown 5litre windsor that pumps out 900hp, the 6 speed from the B series and a Hydraulic clutch conversion, twin plate clutch,.. The car is brilliant. Best Au or BA ive seen. Plus its 300kg lighter than a bseries.. They said it was an expensive job and difficult. But it looks like its factory.. the smaller AU rear looks awesome. i have a few pics on my phone and will upload soon
