they fooled alot of people with that since its actually a 3 speed auto with lockup torque converter, turned on and off via the PWR button on the gear lever. You could drive all the way to 100KM/h in D and the box would sit in third until that button was depressed, all of a sudden it would slot into "4th gear". EA actually got the 4 speed box and from memory once speed hits around 70km/h the converter would automatically lock up and seem to shift into a "5th gear"

For some reason that link doesn't work, Wally. Just searched Ford Holden in the search engine on the Herald Sun homepage and found it that way instead. Interesting tidbits in there, but not much to glean from it, being the Herald Sun/a tabloid and all.
